ok, so i have a problem with research it.
when i try to run it under xp useing h the jaws latest build, it wont run.
i can get as far as the alt-space, r, enter in what i want, and hit enter. at this point i hear program opening and closeing. if i try to run it a second time, jaws crashes.
i've tried a repair of jaws, uninstal and reinstall leaving my user settings, and uninstall and reinstall getting rid of my user settings to no avail.
also, when i try to run jaws 14 default, it says jaws: cannot find c:program filesfreedom scientificjaws14.0default.
does anyone else who has XP have this problem ? I'm running the latest jaws build.
I was under the assumption after 12 no other jaws versions worked with XP. Are you using windows XP? I use windows 7.
yes, I am using Windows XP. Jaws14 still supports it.
I do recall having this issue with JAWS 12 and XP, but I also had similar issues using windows 7 and I never did find a solution.
the build before this latest one worked so I'm not sure what is going on.
I'll call FS and ask about it.
I dont think a lot of people here use XP, but thought i'd give it a shot anyway.
Hi, I use jaws13 with xp and researchIt gives me no problems except on the roiter's news site. There it acts really strange.

Yeah it worked fine under XP and Jaws13, and even the build before this under 14. its just this latest build (3015) that i have problems. i'm waiting for a call back fr from FS< as doing a total uninstall (removing shaired stuff) didn't work.
